Another morning for more new food!
Before breakfast, Xiao Hui led me to a place where I could buy some kom piah for Matthew (Matthew, I'm doing you a big favour by lugging a pack of this together with my heavy backpack for you).
As seen here, this lady baked kom piah by sticking them onto the inner walls of the baking clay jar. Reminded me of how heong pneah was made.
Yummy! The smell that filled the air~
This is the kom piah! Not a pretty thing but really popular and delicious among the locals. It still tastes as good even though it cools and softens after baked. There are four or five varieties, some of which are the onion one, the pork one, the donut-like one and the sweet one.
I bought a pack of 10 pieces of onion and pork types mixed together at the price of RM8.80.
Oh ya, I also got myself a bottle of the famour Kampung Koh garlic chilli sauce (RM1.70) as a souvenir for Mi Mi when I get over to Ipoh that evening. Sorry, peeps, I forgot to take a picture of it :p
Kampung Koh market.
Xiao Hui was busy choosing sweets and candies for her little cousin.
