Few hours in Teluk Intan before a bus ride to Sitiawan

Day 5: 12 May 2009 Tuesday

Teluk Intan has been very hot! So hot, the only thing I could do best was to sleep. Even that, I'd be bothered with sweats in the middle of my sleep =_=

Playing with PSP just to pass the time... (and the heat)

Enjoying the Kampar chicken biscuit I bought for Joon Nie. We opened it up and ate while watching The Simpsons: Movie.
Very good one. Very nice. I've always loved The Simpsons, although sometimes it may be crude, I still enjoy the wise-cracking lines :)

Breakfast of Teluk Intan's curry noodle. RM2.50 for a large bowl, wow... Yeah, tastes OK but still I prefer Penang's curry noodle at Lorong Seratus Tahun. That's the best curry noodle and nowhere else beats that. So much for the love of curry noodle...

The coffee shop where we had the curry noodle. It is not far from Jalan Hill where that glorious chee cheong fun is sold. *fluttering in euphoria*

Next stop was to get something as a souvenir for Xiao Hui before I went over to Sitiawan. Guess what? It's the heong pneah...!

Heong pneah from this shop. Way back there is the actual factory to make the biscuits.

Because I couldn't get the best view of the leaning clock tower the night before, I made a detour over there to get a good shot.

So here you have it.

The leaning clock tower of Teluk Intan.

Oh don't worry, just like the tower of Pisa in Italy, it won't actually fall. I'm pretty sure the municipal council had already done something to stabilise that tower.

Bye bye Teluk Intan!

Hello Sitiawan!

    Rgds,
    Your Sis
